This project was based on the family history of Elle. Using hours of home videos and images of the women in her family on whom these outfits are based, I was able to create designs in the spirit of 1950s variety hours.

The colors are based on personal styles of the three women in Elle's family-- her great grandmother Josephine (light blue), grandmother Jeannie (red), and mother Stefany (dark blue)-- ending on Elle in white, representing the "blank page" she is writing her own life on.

All dresses except for "Stefany" are vintage pieces.
